With his new album "The Call", Opek follows his personal journey in the world of instrumental music. Continuing to follow his deep urge to create more cinematic grooves and nostalgic soundscapes.
Since the last album "Corners" released in 2021, Opek has found a fresh way to compose a soundtrack to the journey of one's thoughts. A search for this sound that fits and has been bubbling inside him for a long time, but could never be realized - until now.
"The Call" throws light on Opek's desire to create this magic himself, which he has found so many times when listening to his own favorite records or searching for the perfect loop. It was this longing that led him to discover his own melancholic character and these distinctive melodies. Opek is right to ask the question, why do we hear the call of creativity?
And when we hear it, do we have any other option than to follow it?
